Corporate social responsibility requires a constant effort to ensure ever greater maturity in the relations between the company and all its stakeholders, based on an ethical and transparent posture. Evolving, in a positive and pro-active manner, should therefore be a constant investment of companies.
This is one of the best opportunities for companies in Minas and other states to exchange experiences, learn about new practices and assimilate the necessary knowledge to consolidate socially responsible management. The 7th Open Seminar in Minas Gerais – Corporate Social Responsibility – IV International Meeting, seeks to demonstrate at a time of global turbulence, how sustainability can be transformed into an innovative alternative, capable of renewing the economy, preserving the environment and preventing the worsening of social problems.
The 7th Open Seminar in Minas Gerais – Corporate Social Responsibility - IV International Meeting is held thanks to an initiative by the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), and will feature a broad discussion among domestic and international specialists, business leaders, journalists and representatives of civil society, seeking to closely examine the issues and practices for sustainable development.
Conscientious companies must move from reflection towards action, from discourse to practice. In plenary sessions and round tables, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and define responsibilities, strategies and concrete actions to promote sustainability, an indispensable mission to balance the current economic, social and environmental needs of humanity.

"An essential characteristic of sustainable development refers to long term vision. This requires the vision of at least one generation. The Action itself can have a shorter term, but its consequences must be lasting in the timeline." |
