• Minas Trend Preview - Autumn / Winter 2011

November is coming and with it the 7th edition of the Minas Trend Preview, one of the biggest national events of fashion, held from November 3rd to 6th, in Alphaville, Nova Lima (MG), near the state capital, Belo Horizonte. The theme this time is Fashion, Body, Fashion, a designer Ronaldo Fraga reference to the body as an instrument of fashion and 35 years of Grupo Corpo, a leading dance groups in the world.

The business lounge will house the MTP 166 exhibitors that will present their creations to buyers from all regions of Brazil and from other countries. In the last edition, held in May of this year, the turnover was around the USD 220 million. The expectation of the organizers and exhibitors at this edition is a 30% increase in business.

The area that now lodges the event is 12 thousand square meters. The estimated public is around 2,500 local people every day, from Brazil and countries like Portugal, Spain, France, Poland, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Holland.

MTP: Anticipating trends and generating new business

The Minas Trend Preview is the only preview event and is considered one of the biggest events in fashion and behavior of the country. It is also one of the most important areas of business generation.

MTP promotes the exchange of knowledge, integration between professionals and stimulates the growth and organization of the fashion industry and the entire production chain. There are shows, lecture and business match making for retailers and buyers from all over Brazil and several parts of the world, with the presence of national and international journalists. The event takes place twice a year (April and November), featuring fashion trends for the coming seasons.
